Dr. Harshadbhai P. Khakhar, M.S.
Trustee- Shree Lohana Mahaparishad
Dr. Khakhar is a personality following Vedic Tradition of life as preached in Hinduism. In 1999, he voluntarily decided to retire as a Surgeon and not to indulge in money spinning activities; he decided to dedicate himself to the service of people in general & Raghuvanshi Lohana Community in particular under the leadership of Past President- Shri Jayantilal Kundaliya.
Born on 20th April, 1940 at Jodia in Jamnagar Dist. Gujarat. He had his primary education in Jodia and got his High Secondary passed out in 1959 from Dharmendra Sinhji Science college, Rajkot with ‘B’ grade Marks. He completed his MBBS with 1st class in 1964 from Jamnagar Medical college, affiliated to Gujarat University. 1968, He stood first in Surgeons examination from University of Saurashtra.
In 1966, he got married to Naynaben and were blessed with one son and three daughters. His son, Shri Manish khakhar, B.Sc., LLB is senior legal advisor to Bajaj Allianz; eldest daughter Dr Devyaniben- a Gynac married to Dr.Chetan Hindocha, M.S.(Eye surgeon); second daughter Sangita, B.Sc-Microbilogy married to an Automobile Engineer Shri Jaydeep Chandarana of Vadodara and the youngest daughter Nitaben, B.Com married to CA Jitesh Kumar Kanabar- Resident of Australia.

» 1975-81 - Honorary Surgeon – T.B. Hospital and Surgical Hospital, Keshod;
» 1981 – President, Medical Society, Keshod;
» 1982 – Vice President of All India Medical Assn (Saurashtra Region);
» 1991-92 – President- Rajkot Surgeons’ Assn- unanimously;
» 1981-99 – Established ‘Sanjivani Surgical Hospital’ at Rajkot and earned name and fame.

Dr Khakhar believes that he could perform all these jobs and projects with the blessings of GOD only but at the same time, credits Raghuvanshi Lohana Samaj for all of his successes. He also accepts and pays tribute to the contribution made by her wife Smt Nayanaben, without her active support, he would not have succeeded.
He promises to serve Raghuvanshi Lohana Samaj until his last breath with honesty, dedication, positively.
